I've been so busy!!  I apologize for the delay in my blogging, but I've been (gasp!) without internet for over a week.  I have had the pleasure of photographing two very special weddings these past two weekends.  Over Memorial Day weekend my cousin Adam married his beautiful bride Rose in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia.  This past weekend my friend since childhood, Ann, got married to the perfect man for her, Ryan, in Maggie Valley North Carolina.  I'll get some sneak peeks as soon as possible, but in the mean time I have both Dori & Nate's wedding and Angela & Robert's weddings to show you.  So, I'll stop talking and get to showing!!  Here are some favorites from Dori & Nate's wedding at The Carlyle House.I love Dori's dress!  It was 100% perfect for her.The "first look."Dori's Father and Step-Father both walked her down the aisle.The Newlyweds!More from Dori & Nate's wedding soon....www.CourtneyGoldman.com

I know that I never write a blog post that doesn't have photos, but there's a first time for everything!  As a wedding professional, I read a lot of wedding blogs.  I like to know as much as possible about weddings and what is important for brides so that I can do my job better.  I also just love the flowers, DIY projects, photos, and all the details that go into weddings!I found an absolute favorite blog that I'd like to share with you: Weddingbee.  This blog has many writers, all brides to be or recently married women.  They write about their experiences in planning their weddings.  In addition to the blog there are galleries, a forum/board to discuss weddings, classifieds to buy and sell wedding goods, and even a vendor section (although I'm not an advertiser.)I just wanted to share this with all of you because it is such a great resource!  I hope you enjoy. www.CourtneyGoldman.com

I'm getting so excited about this weekend's wedding with Victoria and John!  It is going to be at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which is a favorite venue of mine.  The weather is supposed to be perfect -- sunny with a high of 70!  I realized that I hadn't blogged their engagement photos yet, and thought this would be a great time.  These photos were also taken at The Garden, but instead of the spring blooms we'll be seeing this weekend, there were gorgeous fall leaves.  Here are some of my favorites.

The First United Methodist Church of Athens has beautiful stained glass windows.  They add so much to the ceremony photos!Breaking the glass.After the ceremony we went over the North Campus.  The bride and groom under the famous UGA arches.The whole crew.Then the couple rang the chapel bell!

Alaina & Nicholas (remember, from the Christmas Engagement session at Stone Mountain?) got married a little over a week ago at The First United Methodist Church in Athens.  Here are some of my favorites from the day.  More to follow!It was a gorgeous spring day - we couldn't have asked for better weather!Alaina & Nicholas seeing each other for the first time of the day!Such a cute couple!The beautiful GirlsAnd the handsome men with their pocket watches.The whole crew!I love that the girls all wore different shoes.  And the flowers by Birch Blooms were beautiful!

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day yesterday!This is the final post on Katherine and Logan's Wedding Celebration.  Katherine and Logan were actually married a year ago, so they walked down the aisle together.Also, since they didn't need an ordained officiant, the father of the bride led the ceremony.  It was quite touching!I love catching a sweet moment between the bride and groom during the ceremony.Here's the happy couple during their first dance.And the father daughter dance.These girls had such a great time dancing!  I took this photo while lying on the dance floor!The mother and father of the bride, enjoying the music.Congratulations to Katherine and Logan!
